Yeah—I've always been displaced—I'm pretty confident that I've been writing what people would consider cyphers in the "rap battle" section; however, I see things in a different light than some people (not one of us are the same), and the word battle doesn't generate an immediate image of physical punches, but rather elevated mental presence. You're right (in that he's right) about his advice being spot on (as it is very significant and relative); I just wanted to state why I wasn't living up to the the standard everyone is expecting, and that's because I have self-respect like a Samurai (lol); there's some things I just can't let myself do—one of those things being petty, and filtering/saying what I truly feel (perhaps, an outcasted concept in this particular field). Art isn't dead, just endangered. :) :( Comment Only
