Whoa. Okay. After a few reads, I came to a decision. One had a nice flow, he threw mostly jabs, nice ass concepts here & there. I feel like he had some execution problems in some spots. But he did have a few lines that I felt stood out. Other was just reckless. He was like Liddell in his prime, punch after punch, pouncing on his opponent mercilessly. I saw a couple attempts at haymakers & they partly connected, but I was left expecting more from them. Them jabs though, crazy. Shit, this battle was at the top of my list for most anticipated, and I gotta say, neither really disappointed. My winner was just more aggressive, unrelenting, it was like he had his opponent in a muay thai clinch & was just delivering steady knees, that over time, became quite deadly. My loser was by all means, not bad at all, quite the contrary, but he just lacked that aggression & seemed extremely focused on flow. Probably the best battle of the tourney, so far. Fair's in. [Phroxen/] : the whole fine tooth comb - guide through flows like Cousteau shit was dope and worded nicely the flow up kid jack it flow up jab wouldve worked better if u started it off that way and ended with the Cousteau but that me being picky for the climax ... The deadly as catch line was solid and relevant, the sharing a syringe wordplay was alil choppy But the whole flow up buried in the mix shit was a URL don demarco horn lmao!, The following breakfast for champs - siri'll pour out shit had dope wording nice wordplay and ended fresh!, That "& fib he entails, Poles get to stand, Croak from the Pad" connection was crack and ended well! a top notch drop from you . [ILLoKWENT/] : the redmyst wp punch was nicee the multi's was a lil off but enjoyed the punch and the set up none the less, ehh petpeeve alert on the winter for this cat - pussys name line but I like the it's snow problem wp but you couldve spiced it up a bit made it more solid, Career & Car-Rear don't work for me the beginning sounds are different even though the spelling is exact the pronunciation is, flow up bar was real smooth with good punches in the mix!, tough shit on the following seconds go on the clock Eskimo walk their dog - the phroxen get shitted on was a tad iffy cause it's not natural wording wise cause you can't technically shit on frozen(not the textcee) you can shit on Ice so I get where you was going but it took away slightly ... the cruise up against the wall shit is CraCK !!! u should of put the vandal line before that Imo! dope, whole bikini car washes scheeme was potent too!, nice LB bars godbody thread and eths involved - offending mods shit was nicely done!, cool ender . ---- So I felt both came with dope shit But One was had more misses than the other so I'm going to have to Go with one due to that Both kept me entertained for the whole 32 so I giving one a High 9 and one a Mid 9 shit crack!, hopefully the votes go through the roof .. Tough battle, both went in. It's a coin flip, voted will be generated on style preference cuz bar-for-bar it was fairly even. Both dudes used flow, encorporated wordplay, dropped puns/metaphors to set-up punches. I like what I saw from both... Ok,Phroxen had a dope flow,you know something which you can spit on a beat,it was actually kind of impressive because along with the smooth buttery cadence,he also had some nice punchlines,like the Burried in the mix and the Deadliest catch punchline. I feel like his nameplay was a bit forced and read awkward. Other than that,you had some pretty decent lines in there. I just felt that sometimes you focused more on flow rather than your actual punchlines. Illokwent,That red missed punchline was dope,I liked the continuity of your bars. I liked the its snow problem/blizzards play. Now the career play was a tad forced in my opinion because of the kaar and the kurr sound. But I could see where you were going with that and I found it to be decent. The eskimo shitted on meta was dope. The bikini car washes line was sick,i liked how you kept the whole thing relevant. Sometimes i thought the mlulties were a bit forced but the punch definitely hit. So,my winner just had a higher punch count,it was more of a flow vs metaphors battle. First off i applaud both battlers for a nice 32. Phroxen: nice opener and keeping relevancy between punches and set ups. Your box was filled with punches and not a lot of filler (which might be what you expect in a 32). It got a little monotonous in the middle i won't lie, i felt myself just going through the motions and not that into what you had to say, but then it picked back up again and you brought me back. Nice read. Illokwent: nice lines mah dude... i really felt like you were hitting on all cylinders here for a while. The godbody line was nice (because i knew what you were talking about).
