Yo so on the real. Ray. We gotta fucking talk about your wording and shit, because it wasn't right. First off, a lot of your shit either didn't rhyme right or sounded forced as fuck. Yo, if you rhyme some shit it has to flow right. On your first bar you're all like, this faggot LIES ON THE shit he SAY HE GETS. There's no fucking flow to this shit.There's a reason that most rappers rhyme at the beginning or end of a line, because it flows smoothly. Emphasizing some random shit in the middle of a bar sounds fucking wrong. REad that shit out loud. It sound right to you?? Fuck no. You have word the shit so it flows right. I actually didn't have a problem with your wordplay, which is pretty surprising because it's hard to consistently pull off. I would state that the ideas were only okay to me. I thought Obey was alright as well. It flowed better, but the wording still needs work. Some of the shit you said did'nt really make sense. Don't say shit just to rhyme yo. "Demolishin a vast safari'?? That shit kinda make sense context, but you'd never use it in a real sentence or rap verse. It sounds fucking unnatural. Ray: Verse was pretty inconsistent in this one I thought. The wording was off in many area's, to begin with your opener had bad wording which isn't a way to start off a verse. Plus I just recently read a battle with obey in it that had a nice o be one line. The obeyin the bible was a nice concept but the end execution was lacking a real hard punch factor. I liked the ACs/bad grades line also. but the rest was inconsistent wording wise, many off your punches took to long to build up from irrevelant filler lines that you did not need and I felt like that had much to do with the bad wording. You were trying to do too much, just think of the punch and surround with a smooth, short, sweet build up.. Don't let it run on forever before it gets to the end punch... Obey: I felt you had the same exact problem as ray did. A bunch of nice concepts, you had some cool connecting wordplays and the dreadz personal was cool, but overall the wording was really lacking. I think both of you guys at least with this battle could use some work on rewording your bars and making them smooth. Executing that punch better for us readers. I liked the odom, kardash concepts too... This is really close here. Very tough to vote on, felt both verses are damn near equal.. I'm leaning the way I did, cause I thought his build ups had a bit more relevancy.. Both stay up and polish that wording it up though. Voted: Ray Zeus / Obey
