ray u were alright .. your use of quotations is somewhat off at times .. but you seem to have the general idea .. punchlines were okay at best .. nothing very hard hitting that left any real impact .. it was more full of small jabs throughout the verse. you need them haymakes breh. lock you were alright too .. again your use of quotations is also off in places .. it seem slike most people these days are using them incorrectly .. they gotta be exact ideas that you will use later on in the bar .. you guys arent doing that .. youre using quotations for very vague connections when theyre actually used in very specific circumstances .. overall this was a pretty close one so im gunna come back to it Comment Only

Both did well with flow. I felt one had slightly better punches though. Ray did better with linking concepts, but I felt the quotations were a bit excessive..they were sometimes used for things that barely had any connection. Lockhart had some interesting ideas, but I felt they often weren't set up properly or exploited to the fullest. I enjoyed the storytelling style and would like to see you develop that further. Ray: this was better work from you than recent battles ive read. it seems like you are starting to tie your set ups and punches together and also becoming more complex with them. I think the only thing you lacked here was the consistent hard punches, other than that it was a well written box. Lock: this was a really good read. i liked the personals here and that gave you the advantage to begin with... you started pretty slow though but you got on track sooner than later. What made this such a good verse from you WAS the personal punches that hit hard enough to knock someone out. Fairs in. Voted: Ray Zeus /

Ray: You started off well with the opener but your punches started to get less original. The eastern conference play took way way too long, and too much build up filler to get to the final punch of that. All the connectivity and revelance was nice in itself but the overall punch really fell flat because it was so drug out.. The lasagna line reminded of something cass said in I believe it was the pappoose diss.. but overall you were consistent with punch attempts and attacking but definitely need to polish the verse up, shorten some of those build ups and be a little more creative with the concepts that you bring to the table. I'd say pretty close to a solid verse though... Lockhart: The flow was decent in this one. I liked how you were a bit more direct towards your opponent although at times there were some punches that I wasn't feeling like they were connecting. Just reading it, it came off as bland instead of strong. The crew plays were pretty nice. Overall I think this is a pretty close battle and defnitely a tough decision. I just felt one was a bit more direct, and because of that the verse came off a tad bit stronger, but not much. very close. Voted: Ray Zeus /
