Ill-Ness: For the most part, I thought your punches were a bit too generic and unoriginal. I did liked the 'never be givin hits' line, that was a nice play on his name and the closer was okay. But you definitely gotta be a bit more creative on the concepts and punches you bring towards your opponent. You don't want your punches to seem like your average everyday punches that we read from LB. Make them unique... Dope Man: You actually had a bunch of cool concepts but some of them lacked a bit of wording. The 'untouchable' like was cool.. I liked the 'call out n school boy' concept but the wording of the bar was a bit uneffective for me punchwise.. Flow was overall nice from both of you.. I have my vote in this one though. i feel u Ill-Ness, in a 16/32 you could def execute your whole objective with more flexibility...... u can only do so much in a 8line. anyways, I felt that u came out w/ a decent nameplay which had a few sloppy set ups that could of been constructed better & more relevant to the ending punch. continuing your verse, your ending bars weren't as up to par as your previous one was which made consistency a bit of an issue here. you should take a lil more time working on those multies b4 posting your verse, fillers just take away the impact that a punchline can heavily create. like for example, you used IN-AND-OUT-QUICK and BEEN-A-HOT-QUICK.. it might off sorta rhymed but here you only matched 2/4 of the multie, which kinda threw off your flow. fix your verse structure also. keep grindin & elevatin tho, like I said before, u def got some potential, u just gotta compose it in a more productive way. in the other side of the ring, Tha Dope Man, you started off w/ a average bar that could off been distributed in a more complex way. You should of set up your bar relating to the Eliot Ness topic and came up with a whole scheme towards it, to add on more effect. you seem to come up w/ a lot of basic concepts that can be potentially outstanding if you take the time to work on being less generic and setting it up in a more solid way. soo overall, my pick was based on the 1 who thought more outside of the box and was able to come w/ a more creative thinkin. good battle y'all, fair's in.
