Phonocide Basic Member	\|Intro:\| This was a little lopsided, obviously. One guy came way too basic and needs to check out how strong battle verses are constructed. Shows potential though. \|Opener A:\| Basic, no structure and weak punch. \|Midverse A:\| Still basic and not able to land a decent punch. \|Closer A:\| Weak and unsuspenseful. \|Opener B:\| Played concept and a bit forced, but it landed. \|Midverse B:\| Some more forced rhymes, but the punches are there. \|Closer B:\| Decent scheme, but pretty played out. Not much of a punch. \|Conclusion:\| The losing battler lost because they were way too basic and didn't incorporate enough multies, metaphors or personals to have any impact. I would suggest they take a look at some of the "Hot Battles" to get an idea of what's passing as a good text battle verse. Regardless, nice battle.
