JAYDEE - Ok all i can say is Back 2 Basics, your rhyming was everywhere and the punches were slim to none but what really needs work is the structure of your bars. Proof read your lines and put together a solid flow with your words so you can get the idea of how it all sounds. All of these areas can easily be developed but they are difficult to master. First develop your structure of your bars 2nd think past the 1 word rhyme and learn develop a Multi game. Needs heavy development 2LEGIT - Ok i do see a bit of improvement from your past battles but still there is some major holes in your drop and the first to come to mind is your Multis. Its easy to chain a rhyme but keeping an eye on the syllable count is most important. As for the Mid And Closer it seemed you dropped your whole rhyme scheme and just jotted down a bunch of lines that were some what messy. I saw a tiny light of Concept potential but still some good development is needed, maybe a crew that can actually help you elevate or start with your best Text Battle in your crew to help. If not thats sad and i'll be open to give you some advice. Both of you had ideas but almost every basic was forgotten in this battle. Keep Elevating Guys. Mid to Mid. Fairs In. The loser felt like he was just freestyling his way thru the whole verse which is why u had no structure and no sense of direction. Text battling is very different to audio freestylin, every word gets picked up on and if it dont work then it sticks out, and this is wot happened here. U need to think about wot ur writing, get that punch down first and build on it. A positive is that u made a few references to ur oppenent, that personal element is always good so dont lose that, build it. U memtioned his name a few times, try and flip his name and turn it into a punch, if it sounds too obvious then put a twist on it and make it ur own. There were times where wot u were sayin just made no sense at all, so watch it, keep it all relevant, consistent and readable. The winner, ur strcuture confused me, u started off cappin ur multis and then stopped half way? Consitency is important so keep an eye on that. Ur multi game was off in about 75% of the drop, which affects the readability. The content suffered the same weaknesses as your important, at times it just didnt make sense, ur closer is a perfect example of this, what does the punch have anythin to do with anythin that was said before it? I like that u tried to throw in concepts but if they dont work then it looks prety bad. I think u both need to focus on your punches first, make sure they all do damage and then widen yourselves by throwin in the other stuff. Keep those multis tigh, if u have to force it then scrap it. Readin bars out aloud often helps. My winner bought slightly more to the table but i think u both need to work on similar things.
