nice lil read here from both but i felt the winner overpowered here in pretty much every basic. the losers drop felt unusually basic and the set ups and punches werrnt landing smooth enough. Voted: Apollyon / MAN DOWN

simply put. my a couple of my loser's bars had an unnatural feel to em as far as the multi's go. it sounded like he was deadass just tryna find words that rhymed at certain points in his verse. dude should prolly read his verse outloud next time cuz ive noticed that in his other battles n some of his punches didnt hit as hard as they couldve n he had da comedic feel but he was missin that usual swag. my winner had alot of multi schemes that was off when made readin his verse awkward af at times but his build-ups and eventual punch saved em on plenty of occasions. far more swagged out verse, some punches were played and he got lazy as hell at the end but his first 2/3 we're good enough to get that W. Overall this was just a weird battle not a bad one but weird. Idk maybe yall aint want the bars sittin long so ya'll rushed a verse out cuz normally both u guys are a bit more intricate and wittier in ya'll approach and execution usually has more sting. a round 2 might be neccesary to get a better look at yall 2 goin at it in the box. high 7's my dudes. Well both cats here I feel are margins above me skill-wise so before I make an decision one might consider ignorant I'ma give my breakdown and tell you what I didn't understand and then if you guys could expo those specified parts, I'll come back and drop a vote based on what I learned. Goin bar by bar so here it goes. Phe- I felt that the Proper Principles was really just a multi filler that had no real place there as an opener (which you'll see throughout the rest of the verse) and really detracted from the true opener 'spotters visual' and even then that first line I didn't think was very effective as a punch. It was really easy to draw that connection and just a predictable punch. You did the same thing with 'Choppers Visible'-what did that have to do with talking crazy?- then that Doctor's physical was also a very light jab, that could've gone farther as a punch with more buildup and polishing. Rip the biggest led in them? I didn't really understand that as a punch. Nor the "side by side with holy freaks" like christian residents. Not only was that a somewhat weak jab, I didn't get where the drive for the punch aspect of that was coming from. Fam's just visiting like distant relatives. Another very weak jab and still no sign of any offensive characteristic. I mean i could think of one way but it's very vague, if you were directing that as a punch. Craft-bread wordplay was on point. Not a body bag, but pretty decent. Laugh him to death-joke killed me. Another very minimally conceptual punch that just didn't have the oomph to it. Sprint for the cream-run for his money. Decent. I think you could've gone farther with that, and you definitely scoped in on a more literal aspect of it and tried to be more specific and/or made a better use of setups. The devil in the details. Hmmmm. Not only was this not a very effective punch, but at this point alot of your rhyming seems forced in the sense that It looks like your conforming alot of your lines to try and fit a more complex rhyme scheme and it's really hurting your verse. Take em to the cleaners. Another somewhat wasted lines**. The closer had the potential to be dope but some technical things really held it back. Overall, I saw alot of concepts that had some good potential, however due to poor wording and neglection to use setups it REALLY took away from your verse. The constant using of 'like' and 'not talking about' and those type of phrases strongly indicates the lack of decent setups. Murdera- Decent opener, could've gone a lot harder though. The angle you tried to play could've been executed differently to be more effective, the thing that made that concept more viable as a punch was the buildup you used in the next line, however the delivery and wording in that could've been much better, and definitely would've boosted the full effect of that opener. I know what cremating is, but how is that thinking outside the box. My guess is, is because you're being put in an irn (urn w.e) instead of a casket that you're 'out of a box' but you wouldn't really be thinking if you're dead (just a technicality but that's what I mean by wording) the next two lines, had very good usage of wordplay (or the potential) but I think they just weren't developed as they should be, The witness line was a bit more valid but it was still a little premature, and the next line didn't seem as much of a punch but I think if tweaked it had a lot more potential. I also didn't get that blood poors over the town like village peasants. Guiness records could've been tweaked a little, but moderately solid. That idiot lectures line was really weak, the use of that 'like' really deteriorated from the full effect of the line. That sending a letter line was probably my favorite. I thinking buildup would've really augmented the effect but it still was solidly decent. The last few lines were a little sketchy for a closer but it felt like you were tiring out on that last stretch but for the most part you kept it together. Overall pretty decent battle. Both I felt didnt use setups to their advantage that definitely would've emphasized your better lines and helped cover up the lesser more filler like lines. Anyways try to get me an expo or someway to qualify some of the lines by tomorrow so I can drop a vote. If not I have my winner. Keepin it 100 Voted: Apollyon / MAN DOWN

The winner styled on his opponent pretty much. The loser had some multi issues mid verse... the winner had a few nice lines and it didn't read awkwardly like some of the loser's verse. Voted: Apollyon / MAN DOWN

shit this was really close, my winner here just seemd to have a more natural reading verse, scheme and wording really helped here, coupled wit a few decent concept/flips.. although, majority were played in one form or another.. loser had some potential concepts, but felt forced mainly because some of the entrende's or concepts felt too wordy, to the point you seemd to be reaching, to make the punch relation work... anyway.. good battle and very close.. but i got my winner.. Fuck this was a madddd close battle here. Every aspect was wayyy to close for me to call but my winner edged it w/ the line of the battle. Both flowed nice as fuck and had high as hell punch counts. Was really just coming down to preference for me and one just hit harder in the end. Fairs in fellas dope battle Voted: Apollyon / MAN DOWN

Spits That Heat

Both drops had there own unique qualities to them.. A lot of good set ups here helped to drive home some heavy hitters, along with some crafty and flavorful concepts. There were ups and downs for both, but overall there is definitely a consistent amount of skill and experience that shines through each mc.. Close call, read them thrice.. Respect the fair.
