Your thing about odds doesn't even work - unless you are saying I was the odds -on-favourite to lose my virginity, which is kinda unexpectedly gay to say in a battle. Oh, and 'identity' 'empathy' and 'virginity' don't rhyme with each other. Nor do 'blasted' and 'rapping' Jus' speaking as a friend. Comment Only

^ (no sway, just an educated battler/voter) I see your point on the things about odds, LOL. However those rhymes DO rhyme with each other. You have to understand the different between rap and poetry. They're very similar but not 100% alike. In rap there's a such thing as ''slanted rhymes'' which is wonderful because you can add complexity to the verse and more multiple syllable rhymes. You can rhyme ORANGES, which you couldn't do at face value normally lol. Obviously the less slanted, typically the more smoother, but it is what it is. Sometimes to execute a punch, a slanted rhyme is needed. You have to start looking the rhymes like ''dentity, empathy, ginity'.. ignore the 'i' in identity and 'vir' in virginity. The middle of a rhyme scheme isn't what's important compared to the beginning and ends of them. Honestly this is a close battle, one was definitely a smoother read but ones ideas were a little better to me. I could see why someone would vote the other way too... Appreciate the detailed feed, as always AT. I understand slanted rhyme - I think the difficulty with having a global textcee league is that it is hard to get across different accents. Mine is a mix of London and North England, so something I read, even when I read it, I am reading it in an accent which might render some of the rhyming inadequate. You're completely correct about slant though. Comment Only
