A decent spar. The problem with both verses, I think, is that both emcees try to integrate complexity into their verses but lack the clarity to turn it into a punchline. For example, Tana's opener was a straight forward wordplay, it was still out of context on one side of it, nethertheless, that's all the line needed. All the other references became tacky filler, when they were supposed to enrich the line. That was a bit ugly. The same sort of trend occured in the rest of your verse; if Taurus was the wordplay that applied to the punchline, then what was the point of the played Air E'z wordplay? Unnecessary filler; everyone does it sometimes, to be fair. The Turnbull Aye C as a punchline was real forced too. The best bar of your verse was the closer, as you just stuck to the punchline, with one little jab to start it, I think that style suits you more. Tighten up your wordplay a little. Culprit, the thing that stuck out from your verse was the awkward scheming. Your opener had no conceptual direction to it at all, apart from the black beauty reference, but you didn't shape that into a punchline; it sort of fell off when you ended on "Touch You A Whore Quit!" which doesn't make any sense when you say it out loud. Waste of a bar, you should have somehow shaped the black beauty reference into some sort of jab. Now, fuck you with your dick? What the hell does that mean? Sounds like you're rhyming for the sake of it. Clarify what you say, don't put things in just to finish the verse. The following line had a little bit of weight to it, cheap vasectomy was relevant to the reference, but still wasn't 100%. I think maybe you should have built up with more references so it was clear to the reader. Okay, now the closer, it was a bit haphazard. I get the sess reference, but the rest of the wordplay was irrelevant. "Aprin"-sess? There's no point using it as a wordplay unless it all works together as one. Overall, both verses needed a lot of touch-ups, I'm voting based on conceptual clarity and punchlines. One was a bit more organised. Vitty's vote's in. Voted: Shezso Eu / CulpritT
