Olde Concepts- Right off the bat, first thing i noticed was your build for the first bar (no shit TalkSick lol) but seriously, for all bars i write, i TRY my best to keep it all relevant and on-point. Notice how you went from calling him poor (POOR, NO CASH, which was a tad forced btw, try avoiding commas in the scheme) to beating his face a second after, try avoidng that. (however, this isnt exactly frowned upon on LB but keeping it on point helps your verse drasticaly to maximize your potential for winning) The multies in your first half matched up syllable wise cant say the same for the second half but again, there was some questionable wording. (In the next verse i read of yours i would like to see a higher syllable count as well). Its good to see you incorperated a few Metaphors in your verse which means you are aware of some of the "Major Food Groups" of Text Battling (eg: Metaphors, Wordplay, etc) but imo you need to work on fresher and "not so obvious concepts", feel me? These stem from your own mind and originality, so i cant exactly refer you to someone on this site......BadHabitz- Il be honest with you fam, i dont even know where to start with your verse. Im under the impression that your new to this site so its not expectd of you to know all this so i wont be too harsh. What i can suggest for you is too peep past and present Text Tournaments (Follow this link: http://www.letsbeef. com/tournament.php?s ection=tb) to find a proper structure and style that suits you best. Learn some of the essentals to writing a text verse and how to incorperate the "Majors" (See previous breakdown) into a lethal lyrikal massacae! I look forward to see elevation from both of you. Olde Concepts - Your Multies Were Choppy At Certain Part Like The Bar After "Gorro Grab", You'll See That, That Was A Bit Forced And Your Closer Was OFF Homie. I've Seen Better From You, So My Advice Is To Touch Up On Your Multies And Deliver With Better Accuracy With Your Rhymes. Secondly Work On Enhancing Your Punches With Current Concepts And Avoid The Played/Basic Punchlines.
