People here have a pretty specific way they like stuff set out and until you've learnt how that is and developed your skills a little more you don't have to worry about your rank going down. fair vote, absolutely no hate. this is how i break it down: lilshay, you have no punchlines as far as i can tell. just because you can make two words rhyme doesn't mean you're battle rapping. you have to have heard hitting punchlines. there was also no wordplay, which again is integral to a rap battle. you need to develop your style a little more is all. DarkcapeRaps, the first thing anyone here will tell you is you gotta fill up your lines. people actually vote stuff down on here for setting out your lines the way you did. use all available space. your punchlines were a little weak, but you had punchlines so that's a plus. just need to make them harder hitting now. there was very little wordplay in your verse too although there was the line "you better be taking notes because you're about to get schooled" that's a punchline and wordplay right there. you need to make every line count when you're battling, guys. you only have a short amount of space to impress, so try to boil everything down to the hardest hitting or funniest stuff that you can. again, no hate. just trying to help people develop and grow.
