wasnt impressed wit either tbh, other than the polished relavency in setups... concept wise, seen some really played wordpuns, which is probably due to rust, or idgf type attitudes.. ex. from verity, .. silent d, like django's name, heard that concept used already.. althought it works as a personal nameflip, but fairly basic,deniro, =v is only half a w? played fam.. the reason the punches have any strength at all has to do wit how well they were setup which says alot about proper relavency, and wording in the builds... anyway, my winner , hit a bit harder in the personal dept, and mixed it up a bit, other kinda went wit some obvious formulaic disses, that went on longer than it should have.. which hindered it a bit... anyway, seen much better from both, but i have my winner.. To be honest i expected more here in this battle from both than what was delivered. Milk: Nice multis (as always) but your concepts i feel could of been executed better to gain the full sting from them. Had one or two good 'punches' but felt most of what was swung where jabs, nothing more. he "l" open wide, concept was nice.... IV: Can see your text games rusty as fuck lol. Opening bar was nice...like your opponent, more jabs than punches where throw. The conceited punch was nice an creative. Okay. Not bad here. Haven't read much from either in my tenure here so didn't know what to expect. Both had decent flow and multies but one sacrificed alotta potenital punches for the rhymes. no expo gang!.. na im lyin ill do a quick generic ass one..this was a pretty comical battle(in a good way). Both had a great mix of humor and jabs. So just know I would've been the black guy crackin up on camera if this was a live battle. ya'll both been on here forever so im not gon say work on multi's/flow cuz by now yall could care less. so what ima sayinstead is get more active so we can bring the "simple yet effective punch" movement back. Some good shit here. It was really humor vs hardhitters for me. However, I feel that one's wording was off and made the verse somewhat hard to connect. The winner was consistent and just had some dope lines (so did the loser but they weren't connecting as hard). Really close but my votes swinging this way. 1) Correct me if I'm wrong but Deniro used a concept from the Phil vs Verity battle. and 2) I was unaware that the D in DJango was silent lol.
